“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Today was one for the books, our very first Baptism Service!

This Sunday was the launch of our Life Groups. Praying and anointing new leaders to gather together in homes for fellowship, teaching and community. Twelve weeks into the journey foundations are being laid, the church is in the early days but as John said on Sunday the four devotions of the early Church are now all happening. We thank God for every leader, for their willingness to pastor and invest in others, to open their homes and hearts.

Our hearts are so full after Sunday. There was such a beautiful sense of faith in the room, and it was a joy to worship together as a community. To everyone who joined us for the very first time, thank you for coming. It was so wonderful to meet you, and we hope you felt right at home. We’re already looking forward to gathering again this Sunday. Join us at the Queensland Multicultural Centre at 9:30am. We’d love to welcome you.

When the foundations of the Church get laid there is great joy. Every single Sunday the excitement rises, our breath is taken away, as we see the Lord at work in Riverland. He outworks His design as we work with Him. People are returning to church that haven’t been for years and even decades. People are coming and finding Christ that have never graced the doors of a church before, from all generations. So many people are on a journey to discover what walking with Jesus means. Raw, real, unpolished and yet perfect in its own way, the beauty of the Saints and the wisdom of God revealed. This is what’s happening and we pray that it never stops!
