Today we celebrated the amazing transformation of the outdoor play area within the Rangatira (children’s) Ward at Waitākere Hospital, made possible by our partnership with @nib.health. The space was blessed and officially opened by the Māori Health Team, along side hospital staff, mural artist @johnfearytattoo, Well Foundation, and NIB team members.

Whilst there is lots more content to come, we want to share the lovely energy and enthusiasm whilst we have it in our hearts 💙 what a wonderful space for children to play in whilst they experience challenging times, a very big thank you to everyone who made this space possible!

Swipe to see the transformation ➡️

@johnfearytattoo had been a regular face at the Wellington tattoo convention over the years.

He’s always super friendly and happy to have a yarn, so stop by his booth and check out his designs.

He’s now working at the legendary @shipshapetattoo and loves to do large scale geometric work, he’s also pretty good at black and grey realism.

A few shots from the Year of the Snake Art Exhibition on Thursday thanks to @leana.lowe.art

This was so much work man, there were a couple of nights there I had a message written up to all the artists ready to call it off..

Between our baby girl’s ever changing sleep patterns, tattooing full time and creating 2 original paintings and 2 collaborations, organising sponsorship, the food, the exhibition wall and wrangling 12 artists to not just create art but scanning for later prints and then framing with a deadline fast approaching..

I think it turned out to be such a good night, very grateful for all those who helped and came to support!
