RU Version in comments ⏬
In 2026, it's 25 years since the release in cinemas of the film “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring” — the first part of the film trilogy directed by Peter Jackson, based on the epic fantasy saga by
J. R. R. Tolkien. 💍 🏞️ 🧌 🧝🏼‍♀️

When I was offered to make copies in the summer🌿 , I immediately chose it! 🤗

Here you can learn how to draw creatures, metal elements and atmosphere.🗡️

And, of course, the horse theme! 🐎
I decided not to choose from the Hobbit🏡☕

🐉 Great moment discussing with@johnfhowe the process to give life to his world in @jaquetdroz dials. He explained that he’s not drawing too many details to leave freedom to the artisans to adapt the design in the best manner. He’s worked on the biggest film sets, and still values collaboration above all, trusting the expertise of people.

Watching him draw also made me feel how deep he immerses himself in the drawing in an almost magnetic way.

Thank you @oliviaboscacci for this opportunity.

Also some images of the exhibition that was held @latourdufantastique in Neuchâtel and we visited already last winter.

Only one more day remains to see the John Howe exhibition in Switzerland! 🇨🇭 Saturday has a full day of events for the seasonal closing. It’s one of the best LOTR Art collections ever assembled in one place, featuring video mapping projections, themed rooms (in a converted medieval prison), and a cafe with spectacular views of the Eiger. @latourdufantastique is worth the trip!
