What do you do while the flags sit and wait? If you said hole hopping and jigging for schools of panfish you’re on it! We spent most of our time moving around following some very active fish. Anywhere from 6-9 feet adjacent to the weedline seemed to hold fish morning, noon, and night. But they never seemed to stay in the same hole for more than a few drops. My two best baits for attracting bluegill and crappie were a 1/16oz @clamoutdoors pinhead minnow pro and the tungsten scud missile jig from @widow_maker_lures. The biggest bluegill award went to @bonzo1818 who landed this beautiful 10incher on a pinhead minnow. Congrats on the awesome fish and new PB bluegill! • • • #icefishing #icefishingnation #icefish #icefishinglife #hardwater #hardwaterfishing #tipup #bass #panfish #crappie #crappiefishing #perch #perchfishing #bluegill #bluegills #bluegillfishing #panfishing #largemouthbass #largemouth #walleye #walleyefishing #fishingwisconsin #wisconsinfishing #fishing #fishinglife #fishingislife #fishingaddict #fishing🎣

Hello Big Blues 💙 Twice a day, hour after sunrise and hour before sunset, big schools of bluegill would come through the 7-9ft depth range. Seemed like every fish was over 9in with a few making their way closer to 10! With consistent action all three days of the trip, the Northwoods really is a panfish paradise. • • • #icefishing #icefishingnation #icefish #icefishinglife #hardwater #hardwaterfishing #tipup #bass #panfish #walleyes #pike #pikefishing #northernpike #bluegill #bluegills #largemouth #largemouthfishing #largemouthbass #largemouthbassfishing #walleye #walleyefishing #fishingwisconsin #wisconsinfishing #fishing #fishinglife #fishingislife #fishingaddict #fishing🎣
