Well, that was quite magnificent! 👏🏻

With comedy legends @iamnotjobrand, @thisisjackdee and Joanna Lumley, to name just a few, Aldeburgh was THE place to be last weekend!

What a joy to be part of the team behind @aldeburghcomedyweekend at @aldeburghjubileehall. I couldn’t be prouder of what we achieved together. Huge thanks to our extraordinary Jubilee Hall team, who pulled out all the stops to help deliver a weekend of world-class comedy, packed houses and plenty of laughter.

From Blackadder and Spitting Image to QI, John’s writing and productions have had Britain laughing for decades. And what a treat to hear the stories behind the comedy, including those unforgettable Barclaycard adverts with Rowan Atkinson and Red Rock Cider with Leslie Nielsen.

A fascinating insight into the comedy world from the man behind some of its greatest moments, huge congratulations and thank you, John!
