Join us tomorrow!🌷✨

Thursday, March 19, at Hope Gardens Community Center (422 Central Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11221) from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.

We are pleased to feature John Mack!

Here is more about John (he/him):
I’ve been lucky to grow up surrounded by creativity. My parents, sister, and grandparents all came from creative backgrounds, so making things has always been a big part of my life.
I first got into photography in high school after taking an intro photo class, and I immediately fell in love with it. I went on to study Studio Art at Georgia State University, where I focused mainly on graphic design and photography. That mix has really shaped how I work today, especially my love for combining images and design.

Since moving to New York City, I’ve found inspiration everywhere. I’m constantly noticing everyday moments that make me want to pick up a camera. My photography style sits somewhere between fashion and street, and connecting those two worlds has helped me create some of my strongest work.

I also consider myself a mixed media artist, and I love working across different formats, from painting to fashion design. Exploring different mediums has pushed my photography forward and helped me build a visual style that feels true to me.

We invite you to learn about John Mack’s work and hopefully engage in conversation!✌🏽

No RSVP is required. Light food and beverages will be provided. This event is free and open to the public. Please sign in upon your arrival.

We look forward to seeing you there!
