🎙Join us for a deeply personal and heartfelt episode of the Girl Talk podcast as we share a deeply personal journey of loss and love. Joining me are my sister @amanda.mathewson and my brother @johnmathewson.co , as we courageously share the memories of our dad - our cherished best friend.

Seven years since his passing from glioblastoma brain tumor, we revisit the journey we were all on during his battle with brain cancer. Amidst our grief, we reflect on the profound impact of the heartfelt gestures that brought comfort during our darkest hours, alongside the unintended hurts that wounded us deeply.

As we walk through the complexities of grief, we often wonder how best to support others enduring similar trials. Today, our heart behind sharing is to shed light on the power of simply being present in uncomfortable spaces, the transformative impact of earnest prayer, and the importance of obediently responding to the Lord’s promptings to minister to grieving families.

Join us as we honor our dad’s memory and offer insights from our journey of loss and love. Together, let’s learn the art of compassionate presence and discover the true comfort found in prayerful action.

Share this episode with your community and let’s spread the message of showing up for one another in the hardest times. 💕

👶💙 Introducing the newest family member, Kole Michalis! 🎉

Guess what? He's officially been on this planet for a whole month, and we're all still trying to figure out who's the boss here! 🤣

From midnight snack cravings to surprise diaper changes, Kole's got us wrapped around his little finger. But hey, we wouldn't have it any other way! 💫

Here's to surviving the first month of a family of five and looking forward to many more hilarious adventures with our tiny dictator! 😜🍼 #KoleMichalis #OneMonthOld #BabyBoss #ParenthoodHumor #SleeplessNights #BlessedChaos #BossBaby #TimeFliesWhenYoureSleepDeprived
