POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

TONIGHT… can’t believe we pulled it off! Join us for an open bar with hosted food while you are immersed in art from fourteen different Los Angeles artists. Our goal has been to raise funds for art education @chrisloosmedia heading a great charity @communityreimagined.ca

We took over a vacant space, and with creativity, community and some serious elbow grease, we transformed the empty walls into a beautiful and artistic experience.

Help us give back, tonight. My bio has the ticket links and we open up for our first showing at 5pm. See you tonight!

Special shout out to @matiasnardi for the incredible video and coverage. @kingofgfx @nardimedia

Thank you to our team behind the scenes. @colonelcobra @oasis_mobile_bar @pacificproductionsla @on_board_la @pielifepizza @photoworksbyrick @elaccortez1 @realtordonna and so many more.

Last Saturday morning at the @johnmoran_auctioneers preview in Monrovia, very much my kind of room. A music box with its tune list inside the lid. A tall carved clock. A harp with a gilded column, set against a floral screen. And a mahogany cabinet with a violin and a piano behind the glass, the piece I wrote about in this week’s Worth the Hunt.

Link in bio.

#antiques #antiquecollector #auctionpreview #mechanicalmusic #losangelesantiques Title card reading Worth the Hunt from Altered Bloom, John Moran Auctioneers, Monrovia, California, over an auction preview room with a carved lion-leg table holding silver trays, a pair of cloisonné cranes, a music box, a grand piano, and a painting of a woman in a dark dress on a forest path.

Honored to share that my piece, Respirar Juntos (Breathing Together) (2025), is featured in THE ART OF_ @thelaurelfdn online auction hosted by @johnmoran_auctioneers

About the Artwork
Created during my research-based Apapacho @proartesmexico residency in Mexico City, Respirar Juntos (Breathing Together) is an ink and acrylic painting on canvas deeply inspired by the vibrant colors, sensory memories, and quiet moments of shared presence I experienced there. It reflects on the body as a space of rest, transformation, and relational connection.

Supporting The Laurel Foundation @thelaurelfdn
All proceeds from this auction benefit The Laurel Foundation, an incredible organization dedicated to empowering vulnerable youth—including transgender and gender-diverse youth 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🌈🌻, as well as children, youth, and families affected by HIV/AIDS. Their work offers vital support, community, and transformative resources to at-promise youth and marginalized communities.
