Get ready for some amazing squishy yarn!!!
I’ve been busy as a bee getting ready for shepherds harvest this year which happens to be this weekend! I’ll be bringing my new Aran weight 3 ply shepherd blend yarn which makes these amazing lambing mitts that my awesome friend @johnnalush designed! Our pals @twistedoakfarmstead dyed the wool, which happens to be Suffolk, and has created a pretty killer project bag to go with the kit! Grab a skein and the pattern from my booth in building C. I’ll post pictures of the bag and the roving (for the coolest spinners out there) in my stories.

Wait! There is more! I teamed up with the amazing @cassielafolletteknits and @lavenderluneyarn along with @kettle.hearth.fibers to put together a kit that summarizes spring in all its many beauties. @cassielafolletteknits designed the beautiful #houseplantshawl which pairs well with a blend of yarn that I spun together. The blend is longwool, alpaca and merino, and there are three natural options and @lavenderluneyarn has dyed some to match the cute project bag that @kettle.hearth.fibers made! We have a very limited amount of the bags so make sure you come early if you want one.

And finally, perhaps, most likely not…. I’m releasing a spring shepherds share! It’s been a hot second since I released one and this one is pretty amazing. The talented @petalandhank dyed some lovely fibers for the natural dye braid, which reminds me of dandelions (totally not a weed) and I picked out a very special brown wool from my stash, and added some silk to it. The shepherds share is also super limited, and only lasts as long as the morel mushroom that inspired the brown roving.

I’m also bringing my newest version of WAM (wool, alpaca and mohair) which is a worsted weight 2 ply that should remind you of unspun yarn (if you know what that is). I’m really happy with the openness and air in these skeins. I’ll also have pattern suggestions to go with the yarn.

So come see me Saturday and Sunday at shepherds harvest! And watch my stories, because I’ve already forgotten so many things and thus it will end up there. And hey, what is your favorite of the things I’m bringing?!?!?
