End of my Rope V11

What an incredible experience climbing this beautiful boulder. Definitely one of best I’ve climbed so far in Squamish. A very chill intro sequence into an absolutely terrifying and committing move on a smeary foot chip. And a “real” slab at the very top.

During one of my attempts I tried playing some techno to get myself in the zone but I felt myself rushing the moves so decided to play “How Soon is Now” by the Smiths and I sent it to the top.

What a year it has been, full of life, love, new experiences, communities and environments, new connections, and repeatedly pushing myself to my edge and beyond.

I am grateful for the hand of cards I have been dealt in this life, for the opportunities I have had to play my cards, and pick up new ones. This year has been a year of rerooting, rediscovering. finding my ground, and exploring familiar and new spaces with new light.

I got back 1 year and 15ish days ago from 2.5 years traveling, and it has all panned out quite divinely.. From the people and communities I have met and connected with, to the events and adventures I have attended and contributed to.

I thank every person i have encountered on my path, for you have shown me something within myself, that I may or may not have seen of without you.

Throughout this year I got to see a glimpse of what is possible, the good and the bad, the potential on both sides of the spectrum.

I feel blessed, seen, honored, and loved.

I am proud of myself for where I am at within.. for to be able to recognize and feel my essence has been the greatest gift.

I am excited for this next cycle, this next lap around the sun, and I look forward to bringing my best self forward, my truest, freest, and most authentic self.

I hope to step into my creative flow and allow it to flow straight through me. I don’t yet know what forms that will manifest in, but I am looking forward to exploring and sharing my journey.

As much as I know this life will test me and run me through the bush. Through the hard times and trials, I look forward to getting back up each time and paddling as hard as I need to get back on that wave. Thank you for the ride.. let’s do it again.. just better :)

Feeling grateful for another year spent with Arc’teryx BC and Arc’teryx Metrotown! (Tried to tag everyone but it won’t let me!?)

It’s been another rad year shooting content and attending events for a company and product that I truly believe in. I’ve been given a lot of opportunities with these folks, especially @jenhidao who trusted me with plenty of projects, thank you. And the Metrotown team who always have my back! Thank you for always including me. And to my fellow ambassadors who gave me space to collaborate and create. I’m pumped to shoot more with ya’ll, regardless of where 2026 takes us!

Feeling very fortunate to have all these moments captured on camera, it’s fun to look back on! Thank YOU!

as someone who hasn’t been climbing much at all, it’s become a small thing where I’d tell myself that I can’t do it or that I’d be able to do it if I climbed more

It’s pretty normal for doubt to seep in when you do things less often. But that’s why I’m especially happy with this. Did I think could? no. Did I try anyway? yup

A small rewind to unwind, this summer has been full. I am full, of joy, appreciation, and love. love for this life, for the people I am surrounded by, for the absolute beauty of the place I call home. What is this life for, if we don’t take a few moments to live, to laugh, to go crazy, to learn, and to share.. to love, eachother, ourselves, and this earth….. where will the next adventure take me? The forest? Mountains? Ocean? Maybe it’ll be my next trip to the supermarket, either way I’m here for it :) I have more to share.. in due time
