My best friend @tommyjames90 and I took my Mustang out to Chicago to have a wild pinball weekend. We 1st stopped in Cleveland to hang with an old friend BillMike and his family. The sweetest people. They're not on the internet. Played some pinball at @happydogcleveland and at the most ridiculous hot dog.
.
@logan_arcade had invited me to dj their joint for @arunasingaunis bday (a Chicago pinball legend) while the Chad Gets Lit stream was going. Which i had the honor to play Arunas, Tommy, and @jay_rupe on stream!
.
Woke up with the happiest hangover because having to leave early in the tournament to spin with 9 entries left, I managed to survive A division. Played @funwithbonus aka Steve Bowden and he sweeped me, but at least i made him work for it. Always an honor to play him. Then a newer younger kid @chriscarmanpinball whooped my ass and I was happy for him. Always rooting for the Carman family.
.
Then dj'd the @sternpinball STERN Army VIP party held @mikerphonebrewing put on by the best rep they've ever had @mdg_in_chicago . Everyone loved the tunes, even the main brain @jorge.alfredo.gomez.marth lots of rock n roll, pinball, hugs, and kisses.
.
After that got drunk with pinball elite and won dollar games while playing hacky sack with a bunch of stoners. Only laughs were held that night. So much fun.
.
Finally got to enjoy the show and play some rare games and homebrew games before I was in bed by 9pm for the long drive we had back home.
.
Thank you to Tommy for being the best road dog with me and pinball degenerate as well. Thank you to Logan and Stern for having me spin rock n roll vinyl, and thank you everyone for the love. There was so much of it at this year's show amd I'm proud and thankful to be apart of this world.

The time is upon us! Expo is nigh! To celebrate we did our biggest ep ever, interviewing Rob Berk, the founder of @pinballexpoofc and @xxrxndxvxs of Fast Pinball (the dudes who make homebrew possible alongside Marco Pinball). Ima use this excuse to post some of my favorite peeps from expo plus I got to slip in a coop pic at the end. Who we seeing there?!? Roll call!!!

THE RESPONSE TO THIS ALBUM HAS BEEN CRAZIER THAN WE EVER EXPECTED.

We fully poured ourselves into the making of this album that we truly believe in, just in hopes that it would resonate with people during these trying times. We didn’t expect it to be met with such a roaring reception. Thank you to everyone who pre-ordered the album, everyone who purchased the record last week, everyone who took the time to review it, and everyone who’s been streaming the album a SH!T TON!!

Also, the love and response around these new songs that we’ve already received during our live shows has been humbling to@say the least. THANK YOU ALL for being a part of this 🙏🏻👊🏻

TODAY IS THE DAY! HARSH REALITY IS NOW AVAILABLE IN ITS ENTIRETY, STREAMING ON ALL MAJOR PLATFORMS AND AT YOUR FAVORITE RECORD STORE!

So much has been already been said about the album since we announced pre-orders back in June, and the response to each single & video has been so tremendous! The most important thing left to say is GO LISTEN TO IT!

We are so extremely proud of this album. We worked our asses off with the legend Bill Stevenson and everyone at @theblastingroom, and @jasonlivermore’s mix & master surpassed everything we hoped for! This was a true labor of love for the three of us, but we’re also grateful to our brothers Matt Hensley of @floggingmolly & @a100sband and @zachblair of @riseagainst for contributing their amazing talents to “3rd & Pike” & “Vengeance,” respectively!

Speaking of legends, @johnnycrap killed it on the art & design...and to get the full effect, you really must see the DIE CUT GATEFOLD jacket for the vinyl!

If you’re local to Seattle, head to our hometown spot, @georgetown_records, where you can score the in-store exclusive Sea Blue Smoke Vinyl variant, while they last! Otherwise, let us know your favorite local record store where you’re picking up Harsh Reality!

@piratespresrecords mailorder is sold out of Stardust Torrent Vinyl, but you can still order Classic Black, Iridescent Green, Into the Deep Marble, or Halloween Orange & Blood Red Ripple...or CDs!

You can also still get your hands on 12” Metallic Gold Vinyl, exclusively from @coretexrecords, for now!

Last but certainly not least, all this weekend, we’re playing record release parties in the Pacific Northwest, so come see us and get it right from our merch table!

Hey friends, happy #BandcampFriday!

We wanted to let you know that our new song, “3rd & Pike,” the video for which we premiered last week with our friends at @newnoisemagazine, is now available to stream and download on Bandcamp. Just head over to the Harsh Reality album page and check it out! This song features the accordion stylings of Matt Hensley of @floggingmolly & @a100sband! It’s not available on streaming services yet, but we thought you’d dig being able to hear it early!

Head to thedrowns.bandcamp.com [link in bio!]

If you pre-order the album on vinyl or digital through Bandcamp, you’ll be able to download “3rd & Pike” along with the singles “Relentless” & “Have a Heart” immediately, and you’ll get the rest of the songs on release day, Friday September 18th!

And just in case you haven’t heard yet, everyone who pre-orders on Bandcamp or through the @piratespressrecords webstore will be automatically entered into a drawing to win a Test Pressing of the album, a Harsh Reality merch bundle, or a pack of cool Flexi singles! Check out our post from earlier this week to get the full scoop on that!

We also want to let you all know that we’re doing a Bandcamp Listening Party, which is your first chance to hear the WHOLE ALBUM, while we’re in the house (virtually) to answer your questions and just generally chop it up with you all!

That’s going down on Sunday 09/13 at 12 noon Seattle Time (PDT) / 3 pm EDT! You can RSVP to that by going to the “Live” tab on our Bandcamp, or hit this link directly: thedrowns.bandcamp.com/merch/harsh-reality-listening-party [link in bio!]

Rock ‘n Roll!
