Winter training has looked a little different this year 🔥

A little over 3 months ago I started the training and journey towards becoming a Permenant Firefighter. Had the pleasure of doing it with a bunch of legends in Class 10/2026. Over the time we were challenged, pushed out of our comfort zone and had plenty of laughs!

Can’t wait for this next chapter 🚒

I can finally say that I’ve achieved a lifelong goal of becoming a firefighter.
It’s been such a long journey to get here, and it’s been anything but easy. There have been plenty of setbacks, sacrifices and moments where I wondered if it would ever happen, but today I can finally say that the dream has come true.
I can’t thank my beautiful wife, Ainslie, enough for being by my side throughout the entire journey and for supporting me and our family along the way. It’s taken a few years of trying, putting parts of my life on hold and continuing to chase this goal, but it has all been worth it.
The past three months of training have been an absolute blast. I’ve met some incredible people along the way, and I’m lucky to know that many of them will be friends for life.
Feeling incredibly grateful, proud and excited for what’s ahead.

10 years ago I tried multiple times and couldn’t get through the first test. Let some time pass and went all in. This has been a dream for a long time and honestly couldnt have done it with a better crew. Friends and colleagues for life 🤝. Couldn’t have done it without the support from @geesea_ on the home front ❤️ mine and Quincy’s rock. Let the next chapter begin 👊

Some of my favs on film 🎞️

My brother @tots_mcgee97 getting married! The laughs. All the memes chilling in dorms together. The shenanigans. The one on one, late night counselling sessions. A brother I can always rely on. Seeing him grow into the man he is now, will always fill my heart.

The brothers around you that help strengthen each other. To call each other out when you need it. The ones who you would fight back to back until the sun goes down. And the ones who will help you become the best possible version of yourself, you could ever be!

Big love mate! Thanks for all the good times! I pray that this next chapter in your life will be filled with many adventures and blessings for you and your future family. x
