Today, as I served a Wagyu New York Strip and listened to the charter guests rave about every bite, I found myself reflecting on what it truly takes to deliver world class dining aboard a yacht.

When guests are investing over $100,000 a week for an unforgettable experience, every ingredient matters. Precision matters. Reliability matters. And having a purveyor who understands that standard is everything.

John Pinkerton @johnpinkyc of @yachtchandlers is that person for me.

No matter if my order is large or small, last minute or planned weeks ahead, John and his team treat me like royalty every single time. He consistently sources the world’s finest specialty items and makes the impossible feel effortless. His dedication allows me to focus on what I do best, creating exceptional meals for exceptional guests.

John is always there, Calm, Professional, Knowledgeable, A true partner in excellence. I am beyond grateful for the support, trust, and care he brings to every order and every charter.

Thank you so much Johnny Baby. I appreciate you and everything Yacht Chandlers does more than you know.

“Flavor Town Roller Coaster”

@krakatoacuisine Krakatoa Indonesian Cuisine - Hollywood Florida

The Dish - Semur $29
“FEATURED ON TRIPLE “D” GUY FIERI SHOW @foodnetwork CHANNEL”
Protein of choice cooked with vegetables bathed in a rich, earthy sauce of whole cardamon, cloves, cinnamon, star anise and sweet Indonesian soy sauce. (A spectacular dish from Java)

This dish hits all your umami senses like a pinball in a pinball machine. Like a “Flavor Town” roller coaster of flavors that ignite every sense and get your taste buds salivating for more. Just thinking of this sauce-like gravy makes my mouth salivate.

This dish is absolutely extraordinary and you can feel the intense flavor of the Cinnamon, Cardamon, Star Anise & Cloves just bubbling up through each bite. One of the fun things for me was pulling out each piece of these fresh ingredients and sucking on them as you would the bone in a steak and then putting them to the side.

This dish is accompanied by the most fragrant coconut rice and 3 types of cabbage as well as array of dipping sauces and fried tapioca shells.

I highly recommend giving this little quant eatery a try in Hollywood Florida. I sat outside near the street to catch the vibe of the locals and tourists walking and enjoying the city.

There is also this cool little mystic shop next door were they read palms and such, next time I might go get my chakra realigned ;)

Find out how long Bluewater and John Wyborn the Director of Crew and Training have been hosting a Superyacht Chef Competition in Monaco.

I caught up with up with the man himself. https://youtu.be/VVCqKfmAxuA?si=YQVdG39Sdr692qz4

It is clearly one of the most prestigious events on a yacht chefs competition scheduled. The winner of this contest was a true professional and gentleman. All round great chef that shown solid set skill, time management and creativity. Everything that is essential to being the best in this industry.

An honor to be part of this incredible industry event with chef from the high caliber of restaurants across France. Truly fantastic event the quintessential Superyacht Competition. I can’t wait to go again next year! 😁
