#🇬🇧 Bath has deployed its “Thermal Heritage Exchange” —a 4.5 MW geothermal district heating system that transforms 2,000-year-old Roman hot springs into modern campus energy ☀️🔥💧⚡️🏛️💚 The system circulates naturally heated water through 23 university buildings and 450 historic city properties, maintaining steady 58°C temperatures while slashing carbon emissions by 3,200 tonnes annually—all without drilling new wells, making Bath the world’s first city to weaponize its ancient thermal legacy for zero-carbon academia!

This single project eliminated 890,000 liters of heating oil consumption yearly, cutting energy bills for 8,000 students and staff by 62%.

Bath is proving that innovation respects tradition when you listen to what the earth has always been willing to share! 🌍💚
