what is walk down memory lane nyc?

walk down memory lane nyc is a cabaret series founded by bronx native john ryan o’connor, built on the idea that the new york theatre community is much smaller, and more connected, than we often realize.

at its heart, the series celebrates the lasting impact of childhood and community theatre and the people we meet while growing up as performers. each cast is connected through their own version of the “six degrees of separation”—whether they first crossed paths in children’s theatre, high school, college, or somewhere along the way in the nyc theatre community.

through songs tied to different chapters of their lives, performers are invited to look back at the experiences and relationships that shaped them while celebrating how far they’ve come. walk down memory lane is rooted in nostalgia, but its message is ultimately about moving forward: honoring where you came from, carrying those memories with you, and recognizing the community that helped you become the artist and person you are today.

check out their next performance this weekend, 9/6 1pm @thegreenroom42

We all have that one role we’d love to play… so why not make it happen?

A Walk Down Memory Lane is back with DREAM CAST — a night of performers stepping into roles they’ve always dreamed of playing.

This time around, we handed the casting over to our performers. Each cast member put together their own dream cast list, choosing the roles and songs they’ve always wanted the chance to take on, and now they’re bringing them to the stage!

Come spend the afternoon with us, hear some incredible songs, and maybe discover a few dream castings you never knew you needed.

Tickets are on sale now. Link in bio!

Featuring unforgettable songs from Guys and Dolls, The Great Gatsby, Legally Blonde, and more, this exciting evening is filled with powerhouse performances, unexpected casting choices, and a celebration of the people who know each other best, onstage and off.
