Why do we study the Bible?

We don’t read the Bible just to gain information, but to allow God’s Word to transform our hearts and make us more like Christ.

As you spend time in Scripture, ask God to speak to you through His Word.

You are chosen by God.

He knew every mistake you would make and every time you would fall short, yet He still chose YOU.

Praying for and thinking about our people at @connect_cp Avon this morning.

In His wisdom, God knew that His people needed to gather together consistently. Not simply to hear His Word. We can do that online. But to encourage one another to actually live it out.

Because there are some things we can receive online, but there are things God designed us to experience together.

So wherever you are today, if you’re near a local church, show up. Not just for what God might have for you, but for what He might want to do through you in someone else’s life.

“Don’t give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing. Instead, continue encouraging one another toward love and good deeds.” — Hebrews 10:24–25 (paraphrased)

This is new life.

What was once dead has been made alive through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Praise God for 41 decisions for Jesus last weekend! We just can’t stop thinking about it.

Don’t do life alone.

Kyle’s story is a beautiful reminder of how God works through His people and how much we need biblical community. We were never meant to walk through life on our own.

Sometimes the plan just doesn’t make sense.

Sometimes God’s timing doesn’t either.

But choosing to depend on God even when we don’t understand builds our faith and reminds us that He is always with us.
