ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: EMMA JOHNSON💐💫
For the next couple of months, we will be spotlighting a few of our alumni to see what they have been up to since graduating. First up is a 2025 Team TADA Alum, Emma! 🩵

↪️After graduation, she continued her training at @cliconservatory under the direction of Teddy Forance, Martha Nichols, and Riley Watts. During her time at CLI, she had the opportunity to work with renowned industry professionals such as Lucy Vallely, Ali Pfleger, JA Collective, Erica Sobol, Brian Nicholson, Tanner Lane, and many others. After recently completing the 10-month program, Emma is currently here at TADA before she relocates to NYC to pursue her professional dance career!

Wow, what a year! I finally got to live out my dance dreams and attend a dance conservatory. Little Lauren would be screaming rn + would have never imagined dance could take me this far.

This year brought so many challenges, and there were countless moments when I wanted to give up. But the Lord carried me through every step. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to grow in my passion and to be challenged physically, mentally, and spiritually. Thank u Jesus!!

A huge thank you to all of the CLI staff for investing in me throughout this year, and to @teddyforance for creating this incredible program and giving me the opportunity to be a part of it. I’m beyond grateful. Here’s to everything this season has taught me and to whatever comes next.

No other experience could render me so speechless. I am a woman of few words but so much love for my time at @cliconservatory. I want to split my heart into about 256 pieces and give them to everyone here who has inspired and changed me so much—I miss you all already🌟🌟

no amount of words that i write could accurately describe my gratitude for this year. this place has changed me as a dancer but more importantly it has changed me as a human. this is truly an experience that you can’t get anywhere else and i am so grateful that i got to experience it. i know that im going to see everyone again, but it won’t be at the conservatory, under the same circumstances, at the exact time period, with the same group of people, and that breaks my heart. im so lucky to have something that im going to miss so much with everything in me.

a huge thank you to @teddyforance for creating such a special place. i’m so honored to have been a part of something so magical! and thank you to all of the resident faculty, @nichols14 @riileywaatts @jennip1021 @stephshumway @caseygonzo @krysiastcyr @whosyourkuya @jwayno2 for all of your wisdom this year. so thankful to have gotten to learn from you all ◡̈

and lastly thank you cli for brining such a special person into my life, @keegan_fraelle i’m so glad that we met this year because you made my time at cli so special and i wouldn’t be who i am today without you. i love you so much💞

I can’t put into words how special this place and these people are! I can’t thank everyone enough for such an amazing year, I have grown so much as a dancer and person. @teddyforance thank you so much for the opportunities and support! Thank you for creating an environment where everyone can just be themselves and do what we love most. I am extremely grateful! I leave with the fullest heart and a family I can always count on! 🫀
