June recap! It was so good to go home. It’s an interesting situation when your heart is in two places…
June was a much busier month for me than normal in terms of travel and events. It was a nice little switch. #june #oklahoma #travel #wedding #arizona

I love you mama. I hate being so far away. Thank you for always being my go to listening ear. You never judge me and always understand my heart. You are a blessing to so many and I’m beyond grateful that God made you my mama. Love you @johnson_lori2021 ! #mothersday #mama #momma #family #likemotherlikedaugther

This might be a post that’s only important to me, but it gives me all the feels. That little girl has worked so stinking hard and will continue to. She believes in you! When you can, support your friends over people who just see you as a number.

And that is a wrap on the family‘s visit to our new home. If you’ve been here a while, you know my family is everything to me. So it’s super hard for them to be leaving. Oklahoma is just too far away. I’m so grateful that they were able to make it out and that we were able to explore a little bit together. I will save you all of my feelings, but I definitely needed these last three days. June will be the next time I get to see them.

Christmas looks a little different for us this year.
-Just us in our new home
-my first year without grandma
-my first year away from family
-a new church which we love by the way
-palm trees instead of evergreen trees
-a year without matching shirts with @jessdj12
-trying to start new traditions as a couple
-
It’s been a weird year but I’m still so grateful we have new opportunities to explore.
-
Here’s to embracing a new season of life.
