This will be a painting. Lots of killer options to paint in Vares, Bosnia. The hillsides and villages have stood the test of time.

It was such a spontaneously amazing night at the @hector_anchondo_band show at @artchurchiowa 💕

People always comment on how brave I am to go out and do things by myself and it always baffles me. What is the alternative? Staying inside the 4 walls of my silent house alone? No way! And look at these pics of all the joyful people! Some I have known since kindergarten and some I just met last night! There are so many people and experiences waiting outside of comfort zones. This wasn’t a planned outing. I saw a post for it at 1752. Finished work at 1800. Threw a dress on, half a face of makeup, and half a set of jewlery, then shoved the rest in my bra and was out the door at 1809 headed to Classic Cafe for a fast dinner where I finished getting ready while awaiting my tenderloin.

The art church is such a truly magnificent venue and the music repeatedly gave me goosebumps. The true highlights though were the people I spent the evening with. @johnsonrebec @collinse99 @art.samoore #iowa #artchurch #hectoranchondo #hectoranchondoband #music #art #suzzzyq

From real talk on the panel (go Holly!) to big laughs and even bigger inspiration, the SW Iowa Women’s Networking event delivered all the good vibes and we are still buzzing from Time to Thrive in 2025!
Shoutout to Julie Kalambokidis for pulling together such a fun, fearless group of women including Michelle Lee, Rebecca Jones, and Amber Crawford (Fit & Funny). If this is what thriving looks like—we’re all in. image001.pngimage002.pngimage003.png
