A few days later… 💕 My girl and all the Homecoming 2026 fun!

I want to hit pause on these sweet seasons, but I’m so thankful I get to be her mom and walk through all these adventures with her. 💗

Today is one of my favorite days because it’s my handsome husband’s birthday! 😍🎉

John, I’m so thankful I get to do this life with you. You’re my best friend, my biggest adventure, and the one I want beside me through every twist and turn. I love the way you lead our family, serve the Lord, and love people so well.

And yes… I still melt when you walk in the room.❤️

Happy birthday to my guy! I love you! @johnstepp ❤️

John and I have birthdays this week.🎉🎉🎉
I LOVE birthday week! My bday was the 24th
(a big thank you to all the birthday wishes, shout outs, texts, gifts, cake, treats and dinner) and John’s birthday is at the end of the month. Right in the middle we were blessed to get to attend the Family Life Weekend To Remember Marriage conference. We have been before and highly recommend this weekend to anyone that wants to invest in one of your greatest gifts… your marriage. “In reality, a ‘happily ever after’ marriage isn’t a matter of picking the right person, like some marriage lottery. It’s a matter of intentional nurturing over time… and we can all use a little more practice.” It’s all about oneness! What a great birthday gift to get to spend this time with my favorite guy and invest in us.

Family Life marriage events are all over the country. I strongly encourage any of our married friends to check it out. You will be so glad you did!

This has been one of the most emotional years of parenting for me.

I’ve watched other friends walk through this season and thought I understood what it would feel like. But this year, it was my turn. My year with Rigby as a senior in high school and now launching my boy into his college chapter.

I know the Lord has my boy. I’ve known that for a long time. And still…wow. It’s a lot. ❤️

Today we moved him in and dropped him off. I am SO proud of Rigby, and I truly believe God is going to do big things in and through my son.

Watching him walk away tonight took me right back to the first day I dropped him off at kindergarten—the first photo. He was full of joy and confidence, and he didn’t look back. He didn’t cry, but I got back to my car and cried my eyes out. 😂😭

Today, after he let me hug him for just a little longer, he walked away…and didn’t look back.

One thing I never realized would sting so much is not knowing when the last time will be. The last time they hold your hand. The last time they need you in quite the same way. Those “last times”…whoa. They’ve been hitting a little harder lately.

Today was really good. And I could not do this without my incredible husband. He is my best friend, and I’m so thankful I get to walk through every season with him. We are so proud of Rigby.

The other day I asked Rigby while enjoying lunch to give us a little grace and patience as we adjust to this new chapter, too. We are so proud of him. We believe in him. And most of all, we trust the Lord with him.

So tonight my heart is full—full of pride, gratitude, a little sadness, and SO much faith.

Go chase what God has for you, Rigby. We’ll always be right here cheering you on. ❤️

And if you’re a mama somewhere in this season too…you’re not alone. If I can ever be of any encouragement or share resources, please reach out.❤️

First day of Highschool at JCS for our Colbie girl! To think back from the start at JCS entering PK3, all those elementary and middle school years… slow down. We are just so proud of her and we know God has great things in store for her this year. ❤️

A little different not seeing Rigby heading off to JCS today but college drop off is around the corner. This is a big year!
I’m not crying you are crying😂❤️🙏🏼.

25 years, John Stepp. Let’s go!!!❤️🎉

What a beautiful, wild, faith-filled adventure these 25 years have been. We’ve laughed, cried, grown, trusted God through every season, and built a life that is so much more than I ever imagined.

I choose you today just as I did then. And I’ll keep choosing you—again and again. Without hesitation. Without doubt. In every season.

Thank you for loving me so well, for leading our family, for making me laugh, and for walking beside me through this incredible journey. I thank the Lord every single day for you and our Team Stepp!

Happy 25th Anniversary, babe. Here’s to the next adventure. I love you. ❤️

There’s just something about the mountains… 🏔️❤️

The views that literally take your breath away. The slower mornings. The winding roads. The laughter around the table. The quiet moments and sunsets that remind you how good God is.

Blue Ridge gave us exactly what we needed—a chance to unplug, be present, and soak in the beauty of God’s creation while making memories we’ll never forget.

Until next time, Blue Ridge. ❤️

Have you been? What’s your favorite thing to do in Blue Ridge?
