Some gates are built to keep the living out. Others remind us that death is only a doorway to eternity.

Through the silence, the moss, and the passing years, one truth remains: Dust we are, and to dust we shall return.

Those abbey bells don’t give a damn how much money you’ve got or how many sins you’ve buried.

They ring for the saint, the sinner, the damned fool, and the man crawling his way back to God.

One day, they’ll toll for me too.

Until then, I’ve got sins to bury, a cross to carry, and a soul worth fighting for.

I love that most people do not know of St. Martins Abbey or have ever been and it’s right next to Sacred Heart Parish
What a blessing.

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me.” — Psalm 23:4
I’ve walked with sinners, knelt among saints, and heard the devil whisper my name.
But I don’t belong to the darkness, and Hell has no claim on my soul.
I follow a King who walked into the grave and came out victorious.
Christus Vincit. Christus Regnat. Christus Imperat.
Pax.

The Guardian Angels are not merely figures of comfort — they are combatants.

Every soul is entrusted to angelic guardianship by the command of God, standing against realities unseen by human eyes. Ignore the spiritual battle, and the enemy does not.

“Behold, I send an angel before you, to guard you on the way.” — Exodus 23:20

Pray. Remain vigilant. Today — not later.

Blessed to be led and spiritually formed by Abbot Marion and the Benedictine community of St. Martin’s Abbey.

Holy Guardian Angels, pray for us. ✝️🕊️🙏🏼💀🩸🥖 ⚔️ 🛡️ 🐦‍⬛ 👼 😇
