It takes a village...

This past weekend, I got to celebrate my village who showed up for me over this past year. I would never have made it through cancer treatment without all these people, and so many more who I either didn't get pictures with (doh!) or who couldn't make it.

I've always been fascinated by the part in Tom Sawyer where the whole town thinks he and Huck are dead, so they have a funeral and the boys watch from the rafters. There is some sort of reference to not knowing what you mean to people until you die. I'm an incredibly lucky human who gets to know exactly what I mean to so many people because of this past year. And now I get to keep that in my heart for my many, many long years to come.

Now if you'll excuse me...it seems I need a tissue since my nose is running from spontaneously bursting into tears...love you all. ♥️

Oh what a night! Had the best time last night talking about You Belong To Me, cults, wellness and Frances Bean with my favorite book person, @raeganrevord . Raegan first told me about @annabellesbookclubla 3 years ago “You have to come to see my friend’s book store in LA!” and it did not disappoint. We had a great time creating personalized superhero gear for Lake’s 2nd birthday party—after all, every little hero deserves their moment to shine!

From concept to cape, we designed a custom cartoon of the birthday girl and brought it to life for her special day. Personalization is our specialty!
