A few weeks ago @sivanabrewer and I brought a group of 25 people to Mexico to build a house for a family in need. This single mom was living in something worse than a shed, working at a gas station trying to raise her son after leaving an abusive relationship. I’ll never forget the moment we handed the mom the keys to her home, tears streaming down her eyes as she hugged her son tightly in such gratitude. 🥹 What a gift we were able to give her… She barely had a roof over her head and now she gets to be safe in a home with her family… something she never knew would be possible. If you need some perspective in your life, go do something like this. Build something meaningful with your hands & meet the people… it’s a completely different feeling than donating to charity, no matter how big the check you write. We partnered with @bajaboundbuilds for this project and I highly recommend them. 🩷 We even got to visit a local orphanage, feed the kids and play with them. This trip will always hold such a special place in my heart. 🫶🏽 #bajabound #charity #buildinghouses #giveback
