I founded The Purpose Project LLC @join_thepurposeproject and wrote Thoughts of an Anxious Black Man to build community, create safe spaces, and help break the stigma surrounding mental health.

Having experienced anxiety on many levels, I’m grateful that God has transformed my struggles into purpose.

Being honored with the Voice of Recovery - Courageous Voice, and Mental Health Advocate Award is truly humbling. These recognitions remind me that our work is making a meaningful impact and that sharing our stories can inspire healing in others.

The Thoughts of an Anxious Black Man: Conversation Series Finale. 🎙️

What started as a simple idea grew into a movement that we couldn’t be prouder to have spearheaded.

The conversations, the connections, the community, and most importantly, the healing that took place throughout this series are things we’ll never forget. Thank you to everyone who showed up, supported the vision, embraced vulnerability, and trusted us enough to share your stories.

A special thank you to Dr. Gregory Pate for your professionalism as a therapist and, more importantly, your genuine heart for seeing people heal.
