I love a day @gcuc_uk. Thanks to the fabulous @lashmar.uk for another great event.

The opening talk from Adam Penny at @thebeautifultruthmag was the highlight for me, all about how your story is how you act, not what you say about yourself.

Then a panel of founders doing brilliant things with space. A nursery with coworking ( @theworkingmumsclubuk ), music & content studios for creators ( @weareqube ) and an alcohol-free wellness hotel in the South Downs ( @joinlonglane ) and of course @together.spaces itself, the hosting venue designed to be branded and used for all sorts of events.

Imagine having places like that on your doorstep.

Entrepreneur and Content Creator @harrisonhide is the co-founder of @joinlonglane, a wellness hotel and private members’ club in West Sussex, which he’s currently working towards opening in late 2026.

He told us why the wellness club opted for padel courts over tennis and what the sport brings to the venue.

We Center Parc’d 🌳 (I stand by the pun. Beth does not.)

Lovely weekend away with the whole family at @centerparcsuk

Two kids under 3, approximately 400 snacks and absolutely no chance of a lie-in 💤

Wouldn’t have it any other way 🙏

10/10 would recommend Woburn Forest📍

Thank you, London.

On 8 October, 250 people from across coworking, flex and managed filled @together.spaces at 88 Wood Street for GCUC UK London. On the 9th, operators across the city opened their doors for coworking tours.

The brief was simple. Be honest about what’s hard. Find what we have in common. The room did both.

Thank you to everyone who took the stage:

Our MCs from the Future Leaders of Coworking, Tia Samuels and Luke Fellone.

Adam Penny on story, purpose and conviction.

Jonathan Bevan, Becky Gardiner and Jonny Rosenblatt on what the WIN - Workspace Intelligence Network data really says.

Elliott Sparsis and Cheré Falconer, with Jonathan O’Byrne, on building TOGETHER.

Jigar Shah and Justin Harley on WeWork’s reinvention.

Michelle Andrew, Thomas Proctor, Catherine Le Druillenec, David Kaiser and Ben Cheriton on finding the bloom in the doom.

Shazia Mustafa, Loui Blake Jennifer Sutcliffe and Amin Hamzianpour on building belonging beyond our industry.

Chris Davies, Natalie Lovett, Rupert Dean, Emily Smith and Jamie Apostolou. Five CEOs, no script.

Pip Jamieson on the commercial case for community.

Liz Elam and Adam Walker on mental health support for every member.

Fenton Cayless for keeping the room connected.

Our roundtables, hosted by Nathan Bisnouth: Mita Bedi, Warren McGrath, Francesca Dixon, Amanda Perry, Cat Johnson and Jonathan O’Byrne. And Claire Carpenter with Emilie Lashmar in the Open Room.

To James Panepinto and Olivia Lutz for a pub quiz that got properly competitive, created by Hector Kolonas.

And the competition carried on at the afterparty at Clays, thanks to the team at technologywithin.

Our sponsors, partners and tour hosts are in the comments.
None of it happens without them.

Ask ten people in our industry what we do and you’ll get ten answers. That’s not a problem. It’s the reason we need rooms like this.

Who did you meet that you didn’t know before?

From the forest floor to the fire ✨

We partnered with @joinlonglane on Forage and Feast at Hollycombe Home Farm. A day of foraging, feasting and reconnecting with the land 🌿

Morning forage in the woods: Native plants, fungi and the extraordinary mycelium network.

Evening feast by the fire: hyper-local ingredients, adaptogenic cocktails by AB and @sentiaspirits, bubbles by @houseofsabliere. Not a drop of alcohol in sight.

Naturally enhancing health and intentional living.

Massive thanks to @loui_blake, @harrisonhide, Isabel, @daltonmello12 and the whole Long Lane crew for building something so special ❤️
