Tucked in the heart of SoMa, @cafesuspirosf is a true neighborhood gem.

Owner Raul Sanchez first worked in this space back in 2009 before taking it over four years ago.

Today, it’s more than coffee—it’s a community gathering place filled with vinyl, local books, music, art, empanadas, and seasonal drinks.

What a treat walking through the Fort Mason Farmers Market with Chef @chefaliyaldiz A from two of my favorites, @milosmeze and @milostavernasf . 🇬🇷❤️

I loved seeing his eyes light up exploring the abundance from local farmers and discovering what was fresh and in season.

It was special hearing Chef Ali share memories of his Mediterranean heritage and how those traditions inspire his cooking.

Watching him select produce and imagine what he could create was a joy.

Then, back at Milos Meze, I watched those market finds become something delicious—a beautiful journey from local farm to Chef Ali’s kitchen and our table.
