14 years ago today my beloved Eddy left us. It’s so nice to remember how great of a person he was. It’s also always hard.

NEW: The Arista Coffee Table
Created entirely by hand without the use of forms, each Arista coffee table is a unique piece of sculpture by Jojo Corväiá. In this series, Jojo works with volcanic clay from the Spanish island of Lanzarote which brings an unexpected depth to the pieces

20% OF THE PROCEEDS ARE DONATED TO HAPPY TRAILS ART START @happytrails4kids @bymimijung

HAPPY TRAILS ART START IS AN ALL YEAR ROUND ART PROGRAM FOR TEENS IMPACTED BY FOSTER CARE CREATED IN COLLABORATION BY MIMI JUNG AND HAPPY TRAILS FOR KIDS. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES A SAFE SPACE WHERE FOSTER KIDS ARE ENCOURAGED TO FULLY EXPRESS THEMSELVES THROUGH VISUAL ART AMONG PEERS WHO ARE EXPERIENCING SIMILAR CHALLENGES WITH FOSTER CARE.

THE GOAL IS TO CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE THEY FEEL HEARD, ENCOURAGED, AND GENUINELY SUPPORTED SO THEY CAN REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL. DUE TO COVID-19, THEY’VE MOVED TO VIRTUAL LEARNING BUT OUR PROGRAM IS STRONGER THAN EVER!
THIS INITIATIVE IS HOSTED IN MIMI JUNG'S LOS ANGELES STUDIO, AND CONSISTS OF ALL YEAR ROUND CLASSES FOCUSING ON GENERAL ART STUDIES, WHICH WILL HELP SET UP THE KIDS SHOULD THEY WANT TO PURSUE AN EDUCATION AND/OR CAREER IN ART. THEIR GOAL IS TO HELP CREATE PATHWAYS, TOOLS AND A VISION FOR THESE CHILDREN TO LEVERAGE THEIR SKILLS AND TO OPEN THE DOOR TO MORE OPPORTUNITIES.
