This weekend felt like a celebration of more than another year. It felt like a celebration of us—who we’ve been, who we are, and who we’re still becoming. 🤎

There were so many conversations about loving each other through every phase, pouring into one another, and making capacity for the people who matter most. The older I get, the more I realize that the life we’re building is just as much about the people we make room for as it is about the milestones we achieve.

Every version of me had a role in getting me here. Every win, disappointment, pivot, and season added something to the woman I am today.

And if I could leave a little something with the younger women coming behind us, it would be this: pay attention to what your relationships are teaching you. Choose people who expand you, challenge you, tell you the truth, celebrate you without competition, and remind you of yourself when life gets noisy. The people you make room for will become part of the story you tell about your life.

This weekend, I was reminded that some of the best parts of becoming are the parts we get to do together.

Another year. Another layer. And I’m loving it here. ✨

Just a girl God didn’t give up on 💗✨
Spent my birthday weekend with a few of my favorite girls pouring into each other, eating good, dancing hard, laughing loud, and loving deeply. Sisterhood is truly the gift that keeps on giving 🙌🏽

What a privilege it is to be the woman I’ve been praying for 🙌🏽 So when I say “Favor ain’t Fair” i really mean that because this time last year, I was pregnant with my second daughter Ava. I was feeling defeated, uninspired & unmotivated about life- ultimately feeling stuck & not sure how to find my footing balancing the many roles of womanhood. But through it all I kept my faith & remained focused on God. After I gave birth, I also felt like was I born again. I chose to fully surrender to God, confront fear, use my voice, set firm boundaries, let go of control & make room for God. Once I did that, God aligned everything in my favor! He’s given me so much clarity, peace, & strength removing people & situations that no longer serve me. I don’t know who needs to hear this, but sometimes he has to destroy things in you, to strengthen you, prepare you & bless you beyond what you can imagine. So embrace this season to learn the lessons. Be still & trust Him wholeheartedly because it gets greater later. Stay focused, faithful & grateful because you may just be the blessing someone else needs to see💋 ❤️ #loveyourz #queensconquer #faithoverfear
