Gracias México Lacrosse por darme tantos años de sueños dorados. Gracias por darme razones para seguir soñando y por enseñarme que el verdadero éxito está en las amistades, en el disfrute, en el orgullo y dedicación de representar a tus colores con toda tu alma. Gracias a todas las personas que he conocido, buenas o malas, porque me han forjado a ser la versión de la que hoy estoy orgullosa de ser.

El deporte es precioso, mas las personas con sus actos deciden ser egoístas y malvadas. Son esas las que hacen que la comunidad no florezca como debería y creo que somos parte del problema cuando no alzamos la voz ante injusticias, cuando en lugar de alentar hacemos menos a la gente. No seas parte del problema, rompe los pactos, alza la voz. La gente terrible o cambia o se corta sola.

Gracias a todas las personas que han seguido mi trayectoria, espero haberles representado bien. Seguiremos jugando por amor al deporte, por amor a la vida. Esto no es un adiós, es un hasta luego.

@mex_wlax has given me all of this and more…beyond my wildest dreams. Forever indebted to my family, teammates, and coaches. There is so much I can say, but it’s hard to put into words what this all has meant to me. Truly, the ride of a lifetime♥️

Being able to watch this team and these women grow over the last 4 years has been such a privilege. And to see them battle hard and earn silver all while being the most joyful and positive team is even sweeter. I’ve been trying to find the words to describe what this experience has meant to me, and when I try I can’t help but feel emotional. Being able to make history alongside my best friends is something I will always cherish. It is such a blessing to be able to represent México and grow the game internationally. This team is special because of the love and passion it possesses, and being a part of it is truly incredible.

Thank you Mexican lacrosse fans for your overwhelming support! Thank you @worldlacrosse for making the first ever DII World Championship so amazing. Thank you to our wonderful coaches and staff who helped make our dreams a reality. Thank you to my family and friends for all their support. Thank you to the other teams, it was an honor to compete with you and showcase lacrosse around the world. A very special thank you to @kvacns for everything, we love you so much and HERMANA YA ERES MEXICANA! Finally, thank you to my teammates who make every moment with them on and off the field so special.

Estar en este equipo, irlo formando y seguir nutriendo con el esfuerzo individual que se transforman en marea, en comunidad, en un conjunto de estrellas, en una galaxia, y en un estallar.

Si me han leído, conocen cómo pienso acerca del tiempo y la gratitud. Conjuré un tiempo en el cual me sentí bien, un tiempo que compartí con más gente que tiene un corazón enorme y que ve al lacrosse como una manera de sanar, de respirar y de existir. Gracias a todas esas personas que viven y aman, que aman porque viven y que viven porque aman.

Este equipo me ha enseñado a no rendirme y a dar más de lo que pensé que podía dar. Solamente 3 días bastaron para aprender, para seguir avanzando, y para agarrar más vuelo.

Les prometo que este resultado solo es el inicio.
