Do YOU remember exactly one year ago today, the world got to hear what happens when a collective of like-minded souls comes together. ✨🎤🎶

Being brought on by @buugbeats & introduced to @grandmaster.shogun & the Kaleidoscope group, to sing on this album was the spark I didn’t know I needed‼️ It shifted my gears, pushed my songwriting to new heights & reminded me why I put my whole heart into this craft🥹 seeing my name in an album credit is SO SURREAL!! 2 days until 2026 is actually wild. reflecting back on all of my personal accomplishments in the music this yr has me super emotional ngl 🥺

i’ve made so many strides that i did NOT expect to (power of detachment am i right) from releasing Lentes in April, joining @kaleidoscope.records_ this summer, releasing 4 singles this year, connecting with so many dope artists & building community, having people i admire musically fw my music, growing fast on TikTok, getting invited to events as a creator 1 all of the wins (big & small) reminded me that i really can pursue my chosen path and find my own level of success innat. it’s DEFF not easy as an independent artist wearing all the hats and paying for it all 💀💀💀 but tbh there’s no other route i’d rather take. i couldn’t do any of this without God, my family, my friends, my hermanas who pour words of affirmation, favors, and love into me to help me every step of the way with this.

IM PLAYING AT MY FIRST FLUTE RECITAL NEXT SATURDAY 10/18!! The recital is completely FREE so if you want to start your Saturday morning with some wind, movement, and breathing, this is the place. So much gratitude to a true master @hooploopsoup for bringing me into this community with love, openness and childlike wonder. 🐣

Deon cracked me up asking if I was in elementary school when I told him about the recital lmaooo. tbh i never had music in school, other than singing in elementary school and playing the snare in like 7th grade so my inner child is very excited :b

I’ve only been playing the Shruti for a few years (nothing to it tbh just breathing lol) and I started learning the Yidaki in March,, these instruments have changed the way I play and hear music and I hope these ancient sounds can offer you some peace. Hope to see you guys there <3
