For precept must be upon precept
Precept upon precept
Line upon line, line upon line
Here a little and there a little

We build according to the pattern
We build according to that which is revealed in and through Christ the pattern Son
We align with Christ the blueprint
The author and finisher of our faith
For without Him was nothing made that was made
In Him is life and His life has become our light through which we navigate life

I hear the sound of the shofar
A summoning of mankind into alignment
Alignment to the pattern which has been before the foundations of the earth
A beckoning for mankind to live a life on earth powered by the principles and ordinances of the age to come

So we declare "Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven "
May our ears be pierced to hear Your divine beckonings
May our hearts daily respond to the desires of the Father.

Beloved, prayerfully plan and prepare to join us for KDG 2022 at The WaterGate Church.

Date: April 15 (Friday)-18 (Monday), 2022

*Theme: THE PATTERN*

Kindly register using this link: http://events.watergatechurch.org/

*Feeding and Accommodation are available as the Lord provides.*

I am not defined
By the colour of my skin
Or the extent of my height

I am not defined
By the country of my earthly birth
Or the language of my earthly dad

I am not defined
By my educational attainment
Or my cultural achievement

I am not defined
By people's opinions
Or people's assumptions

I am defined
By my definer
My definer says
I am just as He is

And He is........G-O-D.

We had such a great time in the Singles Interactive Forum yesterday and some of the things we learnt is as follows:

In the period of singlehood, we should set certain things in place.
* We should find our identities in God and define our personal communication with God. *There should be clear vision and direction. * There should be clear values and daily habits. *There should be a clear preparation for a godly union.

We also learnt the need to have written and defined visions and plans of the future even as much as twenty years ahead.

We should invest in books that address VISION, PURPOSE and DESTINY.

We should also invest in reading biographies of Christians who have excelled in life with examples of George Washington Carver, R.G LeTorneau etc

How many conferences and meetings have we attended in furtherance of our careers and life visions?

Do we have people inspiring us on the journey of destiny, people we are accountable to, and who can correct and admonish us?

In the journey of destiny, one can become so deliberately focused, that all irrelevant associations are dropped off on the way.

Teach me to number my days... What have I done with you?
How did I spend you?
How much was I able to do?
How much do I have left?
Without wings, you did fly
Very fast and swift
Too brief to be held
Too short to be wasted.

On this side of eternity,
Life is a vapour,
Life is brief.
And It's brevity makes it a treasure.
Life is in the moment
A minute then, a minute now.
In a blink, you are gone
The day is over.

Did I spend you well?
Am I a good steward of this resource.
Did I squander this non renewable resource?
Do I have what to show for this gift?

As each day passes, do I live in the volume of the book?
Do I make each moment count on my way to destiny.
If GOD decide to increase the hours of the day, am I worthy of an additional hour?
Have I spent my days well?

Lord, Teach me to number my days.
That I may apply my heart to wisdom.
Help me to use my days well.
That I may work in sync with your purpose.
Snap me out of wondering thoughts that steal my time of meditations.
Keep my feet away from the path of leisure and pleasure that can cost me the pleasures of your right hand.
Set my mind focused on the high calling, that I may live Your Days.
Give me strategies for redeeming the time, for the days are evil.
Incline my heart to wisdom, that I may live in purpose daily.

Time is a resource that can be wasted
Time is a resource that can be used efficiently and purposefully.
Help me use it well.
Teach me to number my days... #PoemByPelumiOsode

Oh that I be found faithful
Faithful in the knowledge of God
Faithful in pleasing the Lord
As Enoch walked with God
Faithful knowing God is able
Caleb conquered ever before He stepped into the land
Faithful to His instructions
As Noah built to details
Faithful in leaving all behind
Our blessed Father Abraham revealed.

Oh that I become a Faithful servant
Faithful to learn obedience
He did from the things He suffered
Faithful to hear the Father speaks
He did only what He saw the Father did
Faith to carry my cross daily
In this am I a true lover
Faithful to reveal the heart of the Father
Faithful to live in the power of the HolyGhost
Upon Him, He rested
Faithful to share the good news
For this sake, He gave His life
Faithful to become as He is
To do as He wills
In love, He is revealed.

Yes! to remain faithful
If it means dying for His cause
For no bondage nor chains
Held back the call of Paul
Faithful to the end
To see Him as He is
To bow before His Throne
Revealed in Him
To be called and chosen
To be found FAITHFUL
The Revelation of His bride.
