PILATES SIDE-LYING SERIES | LOOP BAND Target your glutes, outer hips and inner thighs with this side-lying Pilates series. Small, controlled movements create a serious burn! THE WORKOUT 1️⃣ Forearm Side-Lying Position • Top leg lift & lower • Top leg pulses • Both legs lift & lower • Both legs pulses 2️⃣ Head Down, Arm Extended • Top leg lift & lower • Bottom leg lift & lower ✨ Perform 8 reps per exercise. Add isometric holds and pulses to increase the challenge! YOUR LEVEL, YOUR INTENSITY ▫️ Beginner: Remove the loop band and focus on technique. ▫️ Intermediate: Use a loop band for added resistance. ▫️ Advanced: Combine the loop band with ankle weights or use a stronger resistance band. THE PILATES PRINCIPLES ✔️ Breathing: Breathe naturally and exhale during the effort. ✔️ Concentration: Stay focused on the working muscles. ✔️ Control: Move with precision, avoiding momentum. ✔️ Centering: Engage your deep core to stabilize your pelvis. ✔️ Precision: Maintain proper alignment throughout each repetition. ✔️ Flow: Transition smoothly between exercises while maintaining control. Remember: it’s not about how high you lift your leg. It’s about how well you control the movement. Save this workout for your next Pilates session!
