Transportation is one of those wedding day details that can easily get overlooked during the planning process, but it will make a BIG difference in your guests’ experience!

If you have folks traveling from out of town, staying at nearby hotels, or attending a reception at a separate location from your ceremony, it’s worth thinking through how everyone will get from Point A to Point B. Here are a few things to consider:

Will you provide a shuttle between the hotel and venue?

How will guests get back to their accommodations at the end of the night?

Have you accounted for travel time when building your wedding day timeline?

Have you communicated transportation details clearly to your guests in advance?

Remember, a seamless guest experience doesn’t happen by accident. The more you plan ahead, the more you and your guests can relax and enjoy the celebration! Save this post for later and reach out to us to learn how we can help you create a thoughtful, stress free wedding experience from start to finish! #weddingplanner #phillyweddingplanner

✨ VOWS THAT WOW | AUGUST FEATURE ✨
Daisy & Adam’s Colorful Rehoboth Beach Wedding

A blush Vera Wang gown featuring oversized magenta flowers. Bridesmaids in hot pink, lavender, green and blue. A tent filled with climbing greenery and suspended blooms just steps from the beach.

Daisy & Adam originally considered getting married in Portugal, but ultimately chose the place that already held decades of memories: the Delaware beaches.

DETAILS WE LOVED:
🌸 Daisy’s blush Vera Wang gown with sculptural magenta flowers
🐝 Her grandmother’s ruby and diamond bee brooch tucked inside one of the flowers
🌈 Bridesmaids in individually selected gowns mixing bold color, shimmer, sequins, prints and texture
🌿 Greenery climbing the tent poles with vines and suspended florals overhead
💐 Patterned linens, colorful flowers and natural textures layered throughout the reception
🦪 A beach-weekend menu of seafood, oysters and crushes
🤍 An intimate church ceremony surrounded by family and friends
✨ Daisy’s custom silver second look covered in head-to-toe shimmer

And perhaps our favorite takeaway from Daisy:

“The best decisions were the ones that felt easy, meaningful, and true to us.”

The days are warming up again and with the kiss of humid, salty air it brings with it memories of celebrations past. Beautiful couples and being invited in to pre dawn getting ready, watching their families gather, and experiencing a connection that I can start to understand in the words, glances, and touches you give each other.

I’ll be at another an intimate wedding on the beach today. It’ll be a lot like this one and it reminded me of how special this was.

There’s an experience not many people get to have but as a photographer you get the opportunity. To be invited into the fold. Especially for elopements and intimate gatherings. You’re part of the very small team - the village that lifts these two in their union and you delight in their joy and pray over their lifelong commitment alongside grandparents and sisters and best friends.

On my drive to each wedding, elopement, and celebration I pray over you. I pray over your wedding day, sure but most of it is over every moment in your life ahead of you. A long, thriving relationship, the village that surrounds you, blessings to come.

What an honor it is to be invited in. From the bathroom pajama party putting make up on to the fully clothed dips in the pool. It doesn’t have to be a big production to be the most beautiful moment we’ve ever witnessed together, it just has to be you.
