NYB beyond ballet assistant costume supervisor 🌟🪡

Over the last 2 years I have been lucky enough to get to work with @nationalyouthballet as an assistant costume supervisor!

I’ve been fortunate enough to get to work on the film “chimes of change” as costume supervisor! Then this year getting to work with the residential performance company supervising the All in! piece “Letter to the earth” as well as working on all the other pieces to help bring together the Echos of Tomorrow which was performed in both Birmingham and London!

Thankyou so much NYB for giving me the opportunity and a special shout out to Jo for running such an amazing beyond ballet program 🌟

👒 MIREILLE | du 4 au 11 octobre
𝘈𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘦𝘵 𝘭𝘺𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘮𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘭𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘪𝘭 𝘥𝘦 𝘭𝘢 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦

Pour son roman-poème Mirèio, Frédéric Mistral reçoit le Prix Nobel de littérature (1904). Sous sa plume franco-provençale, l’amour impossible entre Mireille, fille de riches paysans, et Vincent, fils d’un pauvre vannier, se transforme en un drame shakespearien sous le soleil du Sud.

Séduit, Charles Gounod se rend sur les lieux et compose sur place : son opéra Mireille chatoie d’une orchestration lumineuse, évocatrice de paysages scintillants, gorgés de chaleur et de passion. ☀️

Pour sa 3ème ouverture de saison (Guillaume Tell, Don Quichotte), Bruno Ravella nous présentera sa vision poignante de cette œuvre. L’Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne sera placé sous la baguette de Jean-Marie Zeitouni, grand spécialiste de la musique française du XIXe siècle, déjà apprécié à l’occasion des représentations de Carmen en mai 2025.

That! Dance does ballet! 🩰

We had the fantastic Jo Meredith with us tonight delivering a ballet workshop inspired by Swan Lake! We also learnt some new ballet moves and terminology.
