special shoutout to @donsurf_ for flipping one of my all-time fav Brazilian tracks, I reactivated my NTS sub just to get this track ID - another shoutout to @guancha_sound for playing Budoshida in the studio one time cos it never left my rotation since.

⚓ SHIPWRECKED CLUB SERIES 002. SATURDAY ⚓

But before @jon.sable takes us on a journey through deep grooves and soulful selections this Saturday, one Aotearoa's most delicious live artists will be setting the tone.

Geo Seato, blending live flute with organic rhythms and electronic music, Geo has a way of transforming a dancefloor into something deeply human, creating moments that feel just as emotional as they do energetic.

It's the kind of performance that reminds us why we love bringing live musicians into our little slice of the underground.

If you've been waiting for the right excuse to get out for a proper dance, this is it.

⚓ This Saturday
⚓ @jon.sable
⚓ @geoseato (Live Flute)
⚓️ @l_ez_dubnbass
⚓ @logan_bakernz

Beautiful music.
Beautiful people.
One dancefloor.

🎟 Tickets available via silentstudios.co.nz

See you there ❤️

This Saturday July 4th is a day to gather and unite with friends and Whānau at our favourite indoor clubbing space @silent_studios_nz.

As this year is coming up to the 8th year running I personally am proud to host this space and lucky enough in this economy to keep pushing on even though it’s costing me personally each month to stay open.

The harsh reality is that 1 event a month cannot keep the place open.
If we can sell out tickets and really support then the place can continue. Support your local. Buy a drink or two, we have a huge non alcohol section from @cocobella to @plantamatenz as well.

Akld has shaped my clubbing scene along with Melbourne, Sydney and Berlin over the last 21 years and I have seen the decline in people attending and going out. We all get busy with our lives. But there is nothing like dancing and celebrating life with the ones you love. Don’t forget to have fun and smell the roses 🌹 while you still can. @silent_studios_nz won’t be here for ever you know.

If you trust my booking and music policy then trust that this weekends LiVE show from @geoseato and @l_ez_dubnbass (dubtechno ambient set) will be straight soundscape 🔥.

@jon.sable has been on my radar for a few years now and I’m super stoked to have him grace the decks for us for the first time. He will be playing an extended 3 hour set.
Im doing a sneaky set in the middle too.

8-10:15 @l_ez_dubnbass
10:15-11:45 @geoseato
11:45-1 @logan_bakernz
1-4 @jon.sable

(Approx times)

Tickets - gather.rsvp

See you on the dance floor to the new improved sound set up. If you haven’t heard it yet then you probably should.
