There's a real satisfaction in producing a great portrait. Not only are you combining composition, lighting and processing, but you are also trying to capture the essence of the individual. Creativity has to blend with the ordinary to be both poetic and artful, but also stay true to the character of the subject. I took these shots on my recent visit to Brighton. The shot of Roger was at the music conference, and the shots of Jon, Martin, Sam and Luke were in the Zahara Club. I'm really happy with each of them. @djrogersanchez @jon_b4444 @martinyouldon @page_97 @andthen_lennybarton @brightonmusicconference @zahara_nightclub #djportrait #producerportrait #bandwportraits #blackandwhiteportraits #clubshots #brightonlife #brightonmusicconference #moodlighting #characterexploration
