Hi my friends ✨ ~ it took a bit of time, but I have finally compiled an Exhibition Archive for Objects of Devotion (11/21/25-1/17/26), a show that changed my life & refined my curatorial trajectory.

Though only in digital form at the moment, this memorializing gesture is close to my heart. I tried to capture the show as faithfully as possible, complete with stunning install shots by @jmleachdotworld & personal reflections from all the artists. Even the order of works follows the exhibition flow as it existed in the @distillerygallery ✨🔮

There are many resonant excerpts and potent details to enjoy ~ hope you can give yourself some time to skim through or dig in 🧡 link in bio ~

Just found some footage of us playing “A Functional Earth” over a year ago when we played @nath_brudenell in Leeds UK. with the amazing @thankleeds & @blklstrs . What an awesome show! What an awesome venue! I miss Rockin and or Rollin! We had a big banner of Trumps decapitated head behind us that whole tour, and we still had locals asking us if we like the guy. Hahahaha. Thank you Michael Vader for this footage.

New “Life Is Alright” 10th anniversary longsleeves are up on bandcamp. Shipped out a bunch of orders last week. We’ll get the remainder out this week. Thank you so much. Also just tracked drums with Nick Egersheim for the new @wildburdsunlimited . Very excited!!! Buy a tee shirt and it helps us complete this album. Thank you @jon_doucette_ for designing this beautiful thing and @teethlikeswordsprinting for printing. THANKS!

4000 board feet looked a lot smaller on the invoice. 😵

10” x 16” Douglas Fir timbers from a guy who used to cut parts for piers a couple miles out of Belfast, ME. Huge thank you to this Hail Mary crew for the help getting this onto the 4th floor of Wareham!

Now I have to build out feed table for these whales. 🐋🐋😅

“Life Is Alright, Everybody Dies” came out 10 years ago today and we have new “Life Is Alright” Longsleeves. It was a definite change for us. It’s an odd record and we’re proud of it. We were compelled to make it the way we did. It’s cacophonous, has odd structures, we crammed dissonance with melody in uncomfortable ways and we resisted all the norms of modern rock production. We wanted to make a nasty ugly sounding record that was about being kind, inspired by my here Mick Foley (Mankind get it hahaha). It was like taking a cyanide pill for a second record if the motive was to grow an audience. Thank you anyone who has enjoyed it. We got new longsleeves (designed by our bud @jon_doucette_ ) available on bandcamp commemorating the 10 year anniversary. Preorder one now. Thanks!!!!

there is so much pain in the world but not in this room, or dispatches from a frigid winter spent in warm houses and just outside of them

Tomorrow is our final curtain call, swan song if you will, for Objects of Devotion at @distillerygallery 🔮🦢 I couldn't be prouder of this show and everyone who made it possible: the artists, the exhibition team, and you. Yes, you. Truly. Your presence and engagement was astonishing. I feel like we created a home for something. Performed some of the themes of the show by showing up. In the translated words of philosopher Byung Chul Han, ritual is a "temporal technology for housing oneself." And for housing one's community, I would suggest. We're all traveling within, amongst, this thing we call time together.

Objects of Devotion closes Saturday, 1/17 at 6pm ✨ thank you & until the next ~
