De verschrikkelijkste klas van de wereld – Totale chaos

Groep 5B van basisschool De Regenboog heeft een reputatie. Volgens schoolhoofd mevrouw Brandnetel-Barst is het de verschrikkelijkste klas van de wereld. Zelf vinden beste vrienden Samuel en Malik dat behoorlijk overdreven. Dat er af en toe iets misgaat? Tja… meestal is dat gewoon een foutje. Per ongeluk natuurlijk. 😇

En juist daar draait dit boek om: chaos, misverstanden en situaties die steeds verder uit de hand lopen. Het boek bestaat uit twee verhalen waarin groep 5B er telkens weer een flinke puinhoop van weet te maken.

Totale chaos is vooral een heel toegankelijk boek. De grote letters, verschillende lettertypes, korte stukken tekst en grappige illustraties zorgen ervoor dat je er razendsnel doorheen leest. De humor ligt er lekker dik bovenop en ik kan me goed voorstellen dat kinderen vanaf ongeveer groep 4/5 hier enorm om kunnen lachen.

Voor in de klas is dit een aantrekkelijk boek, zeker voor kinderen die niet vanzelfsprekend naar een boek grijpen. Het ziet er uitnodigend uit, leest makkelijk en er gebeurt voortdurend iets.

📖 Een grappig en laagdrempelig boek dat zomaar eens een hit kan worden in de klas.

Speaking to a sold out audience about gossip, feminism and the impact of gender bias on credibility with the effervescent @jonadin at @bookcellarbristol was a tonic.

BOOK REVIEW ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The story of the Bennet family after Pride & Prejudice but brought into the 21st century
Showing the family having to deal with all the pressures of the modern age, they even have a sisters’ Whatapps group.
It’s funny but still stays true to the spirit of the Austen family.
Loved the familiarity of the characters
