LOVE’S A BITCH

Our 20-minute short film, made independently in Berlin, had its world premiere at Split Film Festival 2026.

Cut off from her wealthy family, a drifting heiress sells toy dogs on the streets of Berlin, where she finds love and fortune—until that love turns deadly.

Made of completely recycled materials, these masks represent the fabricated identity of a pop star. The shell, the armor, the persona they put on and uphold to entertain an audience. Ultimately these facades are a flattened and consumable version of a real person, whom we do not know, whose true identity remains hidden to the general public.

This project is inspired by the Detroit Thanksgiving Day Parade, and as always my work is inspired by drag.
I had this idea more than 2 years ago and to be able to present it along side such talented artists at the Lacma is genuinley surreal. I feel so lucky to have be chosen by @lacma and @jefferydeitchgallery to be one of the exhibiting artists of the first Los Angeles Art Parade.

“Residents”
For nearly the past two years, The Ufer’s residency program has been enhancing the worklifebalance of young, ever-emerging artists and writers, allowing them to explore the frames of their practices in the heart of Berlin.
For the first, and potentially, the only, time The Ufer presents, “Residents”, a retrospective show including works from previous and current artists/writers-in-residence. Please join us.

Lizard Song will appear on the big screen this Saturday 9/6, 7pm, at Precita Park (Folsom St. x Precita Ave in SF). Free! For some great unknown reason, there'll be a salsa lesson at 6:30.

Very happy that Lizard Song will screen 8/1–3 at Manifest, the only annual international dance-film festival in South Asia, created by the cool artists at non-profit arts center AuroApaar. The curators describe our film as "brilliant and unusual"!
