You’ve seen Jon behind the bar. Tuesday, you get the stories behind the people beside it. POUR’D Episode 005 brings Andre Sykes + John Neely of Black On Both Sides into the room for a night centered on Detroit hospitality, ownership, craft and community. And this time, Jon Jenks is on the other side of the conversation. After being one of our earliest featured professionals, Jon has become part of the fabric of POUR’D — joining Rachel Burnett to help us tell the stories of the people shaping Detroit hospitality from the inside. Come for the cocktails. Stay for the people you’ll meet between them. Tuesday, August 18 | 7–11 PM Parlay Detroit 1260 Washington Blvd. Detroit’s Hospitality Industry Night.

The people who take care of everybody else deserve a room of their own. That’s the idea behind POUR’D. And Rachel Burnett has helped turn that idea into a community. Tuesday, she’s back alongside Jon Jenks as we welcome Andre Sykes + John Neely of Black On Both Sides — two hospitality professionals building something distinctly Detroit through cocktails, culture and connection. No panels. No stiff networking. Just good drinks, good music and the people who make this city worth going out in. POUR’D — Detroit’s Hospitality Industry Night Tuesday, August 18 | 7–11 PM Parlay Detroit Come off the clock for a few hours.

A hospitality night still needs to feel like a night out. That part belongs to K Dirty. While Andre Sykes + John Neely take center stage and Rachel Burnett + Jon Jenks lead the conversation, K Dirty handles the soundtrack for everything happening around it — the introductions, the drinks, the reunions, the “I know somebody you need to meet” moments. Because POUR’D isn’t a conference about hospitality. It’s hospitality people actually enjoying themselves. Tuesday, August 18 | 7–11 PM Parlay Detroit 1260 Washington Blvd. Two signature cocktails. One featured story. A room full of the industry. Detroit’s Hospitality Industry Night.

Detroit hospitality has history. Tuesday, we’re pouring with two people helping write the next chapter. Andre Sykes and John Neely of Black On Both Sides join us for the next episode of POUR’D. What began as a celebration of Black hospitality has grown into one of Detroit’s most recognizable hospitality collectives — taking over bars across the city, building national relationships and creating space for the people who have long helped define Detroit’s cocktail culture. Tuesday, the conversation comes to Parlay. Andre + John behind the bar. Rachel Burnett + Jon Jenks hosting the conversation. K Dirty setting the room. Two featured cocktails. And Detroit hospitality showing up for its own. POUR’D — Detroit’s Hospitality Industry Night Tuesday, August 18 | 7–11 PM Parlay Detroit | 1260 Washington Blvd. Come meet the people behind the pour.

The best part of POUR’D keeps being the part we can’t manufacture: the room. Every episode is another cross-section of Detroit hospitality: bartenders, operators, brand reps, creatives, regulars, friends and the people behind the scenes who keep the industry moving. Different faces. Different stories. Same room. That’s the community. POUR’D — Detroit’s Hospitality Industry Night.

POUR’D has always been about celebrating the people who make Detroit hospitality what it is. This episode, that meant turning the spotlight toward someone who has helped shape the room from the beginning — our host, Rachel Burnett. Hospitality consultant. Educator. Speaker. Connector. And this time, the featured professional. We celebrated Rachel’s birthday the way POUR’D knows how: surrounded by industry, good cocktails, familiar faces and the people who understand what it means to take care of everybody else for a living. A well-deserved night for the woman normally asking the questions. Happy birthday, Rachel. 🥂 POUR’D — Detroit’s Hospitality Industry Night.

The people behind Detroit hospitality deserve to be documented with the same care as the places they help build. Episode 003 featured Taurell Bush, Bacardi Multicultural Portfolio Ambassador, for an evening of cocktails, conversation and community at Parlay Detroit. Bartenders. Operators. Brand representatives. Hospitality professionals. One room. One industry. One episode at a time.
