Braunlage, shaped different. 🚠🏔️
Jahr für Jahr verändert sich etwas. Neue Shapes, noch mehr Liebe zum Detail. Auch im Oktober haben wir nochmal richtig Gas gegeben und alles rausgeholt. 🪏
Die Saison läuft noch bis zum 1.11. – also ist noch lange nicht Schluss! Und nächstes Jahr geht’s erst richtig weiter. Noch mehr Shaping, noch mehr Vision und noch mehr Vollgas. 🚀

Gestern durfte ich den Shaper des @bikepark_braunlage begleiten. Es war eine coole und lustige Zeit auf und abseits der ruppigen Strecken. 🪨

Damit die Strecken in Schuss gehalten werden bedarf es ab und an auch etwas größeres Gerät.

Warmgehalten wurde Daniel von seiner neuen Arbeitskleidung von @lumipollo .

Im Anschluss habe ich mir selbst mittels diverser Abfahrten einen Eindruck der neuen Kurven geholt. 🙌🏼 🚲

iXS Downhill Cup Masters Female Overall Champion 🏆

Four seasons of racing. And a season that reminded me that progress isn't always a straight line.

From a broken frame in Willingen to racing an enduro bike in Semmering, pushing through illness in Špičák, losing focus in Ilmenau, and playing it smart in Bellwald - this season had a bit of everything.

Not every race went to plan. Not every run showed what I'm capable of. But every weekend taught me something.

At 43, I still line up because I love the sport. The speed, the challenge, the atmosphere, and the feeling of pushing myself beyond what I thought was possible.

I'm learning that racing isn't just about winning. It's about knowing when to push, when to trust yourself, and when to ride smart.

Huge thanks to everyone who supported me throughout this season - the friends who helped with bike troubles, my riding buddies, sponsors, and everyone cheering me on 💞

Broken frame. Still made it to the finish. Still took P1.

SEMMERING - OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE

No DH bike.
No track knowledge.
No seeding run.

Just a challenging EDC track and the love of racing.

The wind got into my head. Instead of trusting my lines, I overthought them. Mistakes followed.

The flow from training and seeding was gone.

Hey Freunde des besten Hobbys der Welt 🙌🏻
Am 24 und 25 Oktober ist es soweit. Oktober Ride Out im @bikepark_braunlage. Gemeinsam wollen wir noch einmal mit euch diese fantastische Saison ausklingen lassen aber noch ist sie ja nicht vorbei. Deshalb kommt mit uns auf die Strecken, Spaß haben und lasst euch Schlüsselstellen zeigen. Im Anschluss am 24 Oktober um ca.15:30 Uhr schmeißt @linus_bikes_braunlage für uns den Grill an und wir können den Tag mit euch ausklingen lassen. Wer nicht genug bekommt kann natürlich am 25 Oktober auch nochmal mit uns Runden drehen.
