INTERNSHIP SPOTLIGHT: Jonathan Bucciarelli

Jonathan Bucciarelli is a finance major in the Davis College of Business and Technology at Jacksonville University. This summer, he is interning with Community Financial System.

Jonathan’s primary role involves reviewing and investigating financial transaction monitoring alerts generated by the bank’s FIU systems. His responsibilities also include assisting in testing the bank’s FIU systems and evaluating the performance of those systems.

His work contributes to the team by supporting the monitoring and review of financial transactions and assisting with system testing. Through this internship, Jonathan will gain exposure to financial investigations and compliance processes within the banking industry.

Jonathan credits much of his preparation for this opportunity to the networking experiences and career treks offered through the Zimmerman program. These experiences helped him strengthen his interviewing skills and present himself professionally, preparing him to pursue and secure an internship opportunity.
