✨ THINGS THAT MADE MY WEEK ✨

Another week, another round of bookish news, adaptations, casting announcements, and fandom chaos. And honestly? There’s a LOT to unpack. 📚

From new ACOTAR quotes that have me emotionally attached to Azriel’s shadows, to the Boys of Tommen cast keeping us fed when the production isn’t, to some VERY exciting book-to-screen announcements… the bookish world has been BUSY.

We’ve got an ACOTAR fashion collaboration (that Nesta corset?!), a Bridgerton spinoff about Violet and Edmund, Julio Peña joining Throttled, a Crazy Rich Asians sequel series, and the return of Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging?!

Also, can we PLEASE talk about how close we are to A Court of Splintered Harmony?! Because I am absolutely not prepared.

Anyway, swipe through for this week’s bookish highlights, my unsolicited opinions, and everything that’s been living rent-free in my head.

💬 What was YOUR favorite piece of bookish news this week? And what did I miss?!

This tattoo means everything to me. You have no idea. 🥹❤️‍🩹

Boys of Tommen has always been my safe place. Shannon and Johnny have always been my favorite couple, and having a phrase that has meant so much to me, not only because of their story but because of all the books that have touched my heart, means more to me than words could ever explain.

“For Keeps.” Two little words that carry so much meaning. Johnny and Shannon’s phrase, a phrase that the entire fandom loves, and now something that will always be a part of me. It’s more than just a tattoo. It’s a reminder of the characters, the stories, the feelings, and the comfort these books have given me.

Some books are more than just books. They become a safe place, a home, and a part of who we are. And Boys of Tommen will always be that for me. Forever and always. For keeps. ❤️‍🩹

Also in the other photo has my shan tattoo that I got in April 🥹🤍

Still a little surreal hearing the audio I made for this Boys of Tommen cake video pop up all over the fandom. It makes me so happy seeing it find a life of its own, so I wanted to bring the original cake back around too.

If you’ve followed me for a bit you are well aware this is my Roman Empire series and I genuinely don’t know who I’m going to become when the series comes out.

Fully planning on making another big tribute cake soon as well as a few character birthday cakes that are coming up.

For the big cake, I’d love your opinion though, do you think I should do a dedication to all of the BOT couples, or a variation of this design with the US book covers instead?
