Meet Jonathon Kidd @jonathonkidd_ , our costume designer

Central Saint Martins. Louis Vuitton. Balenciaga. Phoebe Philo. Film4. BFI. Disney. Apple.

And now ABE.

Meet Jonathon Kidd, our Costume Designer. Liverpool-born, London-based, and trained at one of the most prestigious fashion schools in the world, Jonathon brought the eye of a master craftsperson to the world of our film. In 2025, he wrapped his debut feature 88 Keys and before it’s even released, he was on set with us.

Costume design isn’t just dressing people. It’s building characters from the outside in.

Jonathon knows that better than most.

Support the campaign to see the world he helped create on screen. Link in bio.

ABE is a Proof of Concept for @annaelenapepe debut feature.

As we reach the latter stages of development on our feature film, we felt propelled to create this proof of concept short.

Abe introduces the audience to our characters, our world, and showcases the way in which we want to tell stories with a balance of drama and comedy. But most crucially it can build trust for the packaging and financing stage of making our feature film a cinematic reality.

Please support our campaign by donating or sharing.
