these past few days have genuinely been the most amazing experience ever. I am so lucky to have been able to see my favourite band as many times as I did. everything every single day is the most incredible album and I am so proud of my boys for creating it and getting so vulnerable for us. @therionsband you are incredible, thank you for everything (every single day) 🤍

It took me SO MUCH trial and error to finally realise how and why makeup can look SO different in different lightings.

As a makeup artist, it’s so important to make sure that the makeup will reflect how it is INTENDED to in the event’s lighting💡

Whether that’s makeup for a shoot, a wedding under bright lights, or an outdoor event

Why doesn’t your makeup show up in some lights on camera?

You are
✨NOT. WEARING. ENOUGH ✨

➡️ Photography EATS up makeup and in order for the bronzer, blush, eyeshadow to show up, you need to wear A LOT more than you think

➡️ This ESPECIALLY applies to indoor lighting, but if makeup application is done appropriately, makeup can look amazing and show up from all lightings on camera

➡️ Natural light tends to soften makeup, so if you have an outdoor event and you want your makeup to show up a lot on camera, be sure to add extra depth to your application

➡️ Studio lights enhance makeup and the bright lights from every angle allows for every detail to be shown, effectively showcasing makeup the best

✨QUICK TIP ✨
Apply your makeup in the setting that you are going to be in
Outdoor Event ➡️ Apply makeup by a window
Studio Lights ➡️ Apply makeup in front of bright lights
Indoor/Dark Event ➡️ Apply makeup indoors, bright lights are not necessary

Be SURE that you and your makeup artist are aware of how lighting and setting affects how makeup shows up on camera
