#Thankyou to all of my dad’s former swimmers and colleagues for your kind words at the Bama Swim Team Reunion 🫶

“I miss your dad. He was a great man; great friend. He was my right hand man.” - Coach Don Gambril

I miss him too, Coach 🥹

I know that my dad would have been so proud and honored to have been recognized, and I know that he was looking down with a huge smile. 😇

Even my Dad wants to know what I’m doing.
Where’d I get my tan?
From his dad, the pool water and of course Sun Bum☀️
In other words, I’m on my seasonal meds 💊
One of them being Masters Swim Workouts
4-5xs Week - 8 weeks into #summer
2500 - 4200+ Meters
🏊🏻 Designer, @joncbolsen Olympic Gold Medalist, #summerolympics1996 🏅
🌊
I’ll never forget meeting Olsen on a remote island #paradise after conquering the Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean and some of the Gulf Stream.
I threw my training gear down (from @diversdirect on the pool deck at the Founder’s Park Yacht Club and asked, “Are you the lifeguard?”
Son of a swimmer ... my new swim coach came nicely draped in #olympicmedals
A terrific trainer to access.
He dropped a speaker into the pool and I learned we’re a special, niche tribe— Those who function in H20 and the oceans of the world marking one lane line and lap after another
Just add H20 💦 swimwear and sun ☀️

Great Thanksgiving celebration and visit with my family and friends. Ashley shared the Millikan’s Thanksgiving dinner and hasn’t left me yet, so whew! Ash and I even snuck in time for a Jamburger with Jon at Busters! And those leftovers are super yummy!

Here are some highlight pics from an amazing run including N3 Alpharetta which capped off an amazing three night stand at Ameris Amphitheater. What a great day starting off with some cement pond action, hanging with the Pham, and enjoying the show. Have to welcome Sharyl and Justin to Phred’s Phunky Phamily). Great day capped off by a private jam session with Andy Greenberg and Steve “Dude of Life” Pollack in the basement for all five of us. No I did not tape it. Epic run, epic times, epic people. #blessed #phish #summertour2023 #phamily
