Tip From Tee: Take the risk.

I’ve felt stuck in my own head over the last few years, navigating heartbreak and grief.. moving cities and starting new career paths…

Since moving to Chicago I’ve been to two fashion shows, I’ve met some of the most amazing souls, and I finally feel like I’m at a point to let go of my fears of being seen.

Grateful for that first conversation with @nicoletta__ann at that very first show. Who would’ve thought my love for K-Pop and @akira would’ve opened the door to so much more.

Meeting @correyb and @simonexyael at this last show reminded me of what divine timing and alignment looks like. You two are power-house women and I left feeling most inspired.

@hstn__m I am excited to see you continue to grow within your craft.

The perfectly imperfect process of being human and the experience itself makes it all worth it.

Grateful for it all.

Art De Vivre fashion show ✨
produced by @pernodricardusa @akira @joncotayevents
Wearing @akira to the show of course 😉🫶

I think we can all take inspiration from the name of the fashion show. Art De Vivre - the art of living well. In a world of high consumption of material things we should ask ourselves do we actually take joy or appreciation of what we receive? Or are we being wasteful when it comes to accumulating things in our homes, and in this context our wardrobes?

Slowing down may be helpful in making intentional decisions when it comes to purchasing clothing, decor, furniture, etc., that fill our homes and our lives. With intentional decisions we also put value back in the craft of talented designers and artists who make up the fabric of our communities.

I can only hope we continue to inspire and grow with the value and quality of life in mind in every aspect of our lives.

Thank you @joncotay and @jasonhsuchicago for having me at your beautiful event.
