Building with cob is an act of collectivism.

These materials have long been (and continue to be) used for building on every livable continent. Learning and sharing these ancestral skills deepens relationship with our selves and our lineages, the soil around us, and our community. We envision a future with more nontoxic and nonflammable structures!

Thank you to the MAMA TREE team who made this possible, especially @Abudu.Tauo’s leadership and teachings, as well as the amazing efforts of the @EarthenProject.LA team as they rally support and connect people to hands on opportunities to experience the joys of #NaturalBuilding firsthand.

Stay tuned for more opportunities to get your hands in the mud with us this summer as we complete our #CobBench for our @MAMATREESAPLINGS outdoor classroom bench 🤎

Thank you to everyone’s who’s leaned into their curiosity to get muddy with us!
