⚡️ ISOMETRICS ⚡️

Mixing isometric exercises into your programs will work wonders for decreasing pain, eliminating muscular fatigue and increasing power!

1️⃣ Strength & Stability —> holding certain positions for long durations of time will help teach the body how to become stable in those athletic postures. Maintaining tension in those muscle groups will help you become more sturdy and stable while you’re training

2️⃣ Joint & Tendon Health —> in combat sports, most injuries don’t occur due to weak muscles…it’s typically due to overworked tendons. Isometric holds promote improved tensile strength of those tendons, making them way less likely to become injured. Isometrics also reduce joint inflammation and decrease pain!

3️⃣ Increased Force Production —> these exercises teach the body how to become stable, brace and store energy, prior to executing a task. This will directly correlate to improving your balance, positional control and power when delivering your techniques!

Try out these isometric holds and aim to complete 30-45sec for 2-3sets.
