there’s a first time for everything, right?
class of 2023, secondary ed math and economics :)
.
Yeah yeah, first-gen yadie yadda. Glad I did it, I’m very proud of what I’ve done. These last 4+ years have been beautiful. Everytime I thought about dropping out I always convinced myself that “I’m gonna be 23 no matter what, might as well be 23 with a degree.” Those words may mean nothing much but during a 3am breakdown, it felt like something tangible I could cling to. Now I’m done with undergrad and can’t seem to remember the nights of feeling awful. I can only see my friends and the nights we’ve laughed. Memory is a funny thing— very hardship is countered with joy and as time passes I feel that I’ve been happy more times than I’ve had my ass handed to me. lightwork in hindsight, but death by spoon during the 4 years. I’ve worked hard to become who I am and be able to create bliss out of nothing, thin air, and blank stares (more than I’d like). I’ve changed a lot, I’ve grown to be someone I’m very proud of.

Thank you to everyone who’s been there for me. I couldn’t have done it without the people who’d aide me in my delusions. I hope to help you create whatever you want, the way you’ve done for me. I love you all. 🤍

idk what’s next for me yet. I’m excited to figure it out with really cool people by my side.
My goals for next year: radiate warmth, and to pursue on all the things I’ve put off. My word/theme for 2024 is pursue. There’s many personal goals I’ve put on the back burner but I’m ready to become a completer and not just a starter.

I could talk forever if you let me.
If you’ve read this far, question for you: what’s your word that sets the tone for the year?
